Our Purpose

Indian Legal Assistance Program is a private non-profit corporation that provides legal services to low income individuals. Although we are unique in emphasizing legal services to the Indian population within our area, we offer legal services to all whom meet our financial guidelines, regardless of race.

  

Did You Know?

Indian Legal Assistance Program is one of only five independant, non-profit Public Defense Corporations in Minnesota which provide Trial Court Criminal Defense work.

Community Outreach

In addition to actively raising awareness about our services at various cummunity events each year, we maintain satellite office hours at Fond du Lac and Bois Forte reservations:

Nett Lake Administration Building - Every 3rd Thurs. 10 - 11:30
Lake Vermillion Tribal Center - Every 3rd Thurs. 1:30 - 3:00
